About Fibre Materials

Fiber-reinforced polymers (Fiber-reinforced plastic) FRP and Glass fibre-reinforced polymer GRP polymer composites are high-performance composites when they are heated above their activation temperatures and will exhibit high strength and stiffness at lower temperatures.They can also be reheated and eshaped repeatedly without losing their material properties. Composites are ideal for applications such as lightweight, rigid, deployable structures, rapid manufacturing and dynamic reinforcement.

Fiberglass composite material is commonly referred to by the name of its reinforcing. There are two ways to apply the resin to the fabric in a vacuum mold. One is called a wet layup, where the two-part resin is mixed and applied before being laid in the mold and placed in the bag.
